SUNY Adirondack (NJACC NY) Adds Men's Lacrosse

QUEENSBURY — SUNY Adirondack will add men's lacrosse to its intercollegiate athletic programs starting in spring 2019. The college expects to hire a head lacrosse coach this spring to begin building the program and spreading interest.

The team will compete in the NJCAA Region III and the Mountain Valley Collegiate Conference. The college has had an informal men's lacrosse club for several years.

In a release, SUNY Adirondack Athletic Director Jonathan Sisk noted that many high schools in the college's service area have boys lacrosse programs, and that the college adding this sport will give players a chance to compete locally at the next level.
