CHARLOTTE -- A recent sporting goods manufacturer study says lacrosse grew by 37.7 percent last year. If it keeps up that pace, it will surpass ice hockey as far as total participation. As Charlotte prepares to welcome a new major league lacrosse team this fall, News 14 Carolina's Tim Baier reports it's a sport that's catching on in the Tar Heel state.
