Clark University (D3 MA) Adds Women's Lacrosse

Worcester, Mass.—The Clark University Athletic department is pleased to announce the addition of a varsity Women's Lacrosse program as announced by Athletic Director, Trish Cronin on Friday morning. The women's lacrosse program will be Clark University's 18th varsity sport. Clark currently sponsors 17 intercollegiate sport programs; eight men's teams and nine women's teams.

 The department will begin the search for a full time women's lac
rosse coach this spring and the recruiting process will begin immediately. The Women's Lacrosse program will begin competing in a full New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) schedule in the spring of 2020.

 "It is always exciting for an athletic department when we can increase the opportunities for students to participate at the intercollegiate level. Women's Lacrosse will be a great addition to our athletic program and we look forward to their inaugural season," said Cronin.
